Help us locate missing classmates

Our effort to fill in the blanks of missing classmates has started in earnest! Please take a moment to read this!

The Bronx Science Alumni Association has passed along their current list of alumni for ’86. A subset of that list are folks who have completely fallen off their radar. There are a little over 100 entries in this list. You can see the names of those alumni here:

Please look over that list, and if there’s a person on that list that you can get current contact info for, please email it to us a:

Save the date!

The reunion committee has been working long and hard on our auspicious 25th yr reunion. And it’s only the beginning! But we have chosen a date based on feedback from all around. Saturday, October 22, 2011 will be our target date for the reunion. Mark it on your calendars! And start spreading the word. Our goal is to make this the largest reunion yet. Much more to come. And don’t forget our Facebook friends can follow this on our group page.

Malik Patrice Murray

It is a shame that after our successful reunion the very first post in a long time brings very sad news. Our fellow classmate Malik Murray was shot and killed last week in a senseless crime just two blocks from his home in Harlem.

I knew Malik well back in HS, and I found him to be a funny and warm man. While I did not keep in touch with him, it is apparent that his warmth and good humor continued to affect those around him. This is a tragic loss and I send my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. If you wish to share any thoughts on our dear friend Malik, please do so.

Who attended? LET US KNOW!

Due to a silly error, we never kept a full tally of who actually showed up!  It would be a great help if those of you that attending could raise your hands and also tell us who you saw. I’m sure tapping into our collective memories we can put together a final list of who was there.
